For Domains Purchased from Lycos Domains
Domains are assigned to Lycos Publish sites in Lycos Domains Control Panel. You will need to login to Lycos Domains first. Then go to "My Domains". Then click the Websites link in the sidebar:
From the Websites page, click Edit next to the subdomain that you would like to point to Lycos Publish. Typically this is the www subdomain.
In the drop down menu that appears, select, "Hosted with Lycos Publish". The list of Lycos Publish blogs/websites will populate. Select which blog you would like to point to. Then click Save.
Note that this change can take up to an hour to take effect.
Domains Purchased from other Domains Registrars
If you manage your domain name at another provider, you can use it with your Lycos Publish site as well. Simply create a cname entry with a destination set to "publish.lycos.com". Then in your Lycos Publish console go to tools->domain mapping and add your domain name.
Here we are creating a cname for the www subdomain of capcodgreatwhite.com on Godaddy.com that will point it to Lycos Publish.
From there, you need to file a support ticket asking us to map your domain to your Lycos Publish site. We will need the domain name, and your Lycos Publish site name. You can file that ticket here.
